Boomer is a Lena Son that we sold to a dairy farmer
as a youngster. We were offered the opportunity to purchases
him
back at the age of seven 1/2 years old and we jumped right on it! The 1st
thing we done was to register him
through AKC before they closed their books "This was
during the time that pure-bred registered
Aussies were being accepted into AKC", then we began to show him in the Conformation
arena shortly afterwards, Boo was 8 years old when he started his show
carrier.. Boomer finished his ASCA & Intl' Championships before the age of
ten. He also was Major Pointed in AKC gaining wins & placing over
many of the top dogs in the US that were campaigning in all 3 registries!!
The Young just couldn't compete with this old dog and his new bag of
Tricks!! He turned heads where ever we went. His style, looks, a
personality to die for & he moved like a dream come true! Boomer has
produced many competitive and titled offspring for Us Colleen is out of LasRocosa Joseph
DNA-CP x Ch. Gingerbreds Irish Creme STDds. "Her Sire is a litter mate to
our old Lena"
If anyone would have said to me 20+
years ago that one day we would become Breeders and Owners of some of the
finest Australian Shepherds in this world, I would have had to ask them if
they had lost their minds. Now, that our dream has come true. I have My
Husband, Children and Friends to thank for helping Us along the way. Themie Shepherd ~ Loving Husband
for all his support, for putting up with Me over the years and for
learning how to and becoming a wonderful handler, when I got to where I
was no longer to do so. With out him we would not have all the
Conformation Titles that we have accomplished over the Years.

Lena
left this world at the dear age of 13 years, due to uterine cancer. Gone but
never will be forgotten. We both love and miss her as much today as the day
she left Us. She was the best friend anyone could ever want or need. Her
beauty, loyalty, personality & structure lives on through her offspring. To
this day we see many great traits Our Lena has passed on throughout all the
generations until this very day. She will live on forever within them.
Lena has produced what is the future of Overland Australian Shepherds.
We pride our selves for owning this fine bitch and producing offspring
baring many titles in all areas of competition You will find many photos of
Lena's offspring in this website. We hope you will enjoy their beauty view
their pedigrees and appreciate the Genetic Soundness of these Wonderful
Dogs.

of the 1st things you can not help but see is Cocoa laying down looking
intensely at the sheep with her two beautiful blue eyes!
